Umthwalo hitmaker Zahara is collapsing under the heavy load of debts she is carrying on her shoulders.

Sunday World exclusively revealed that Zahara failed to oppose an application brought by Nedbank last year to repossess her almost R2m gated property in the ritzy suburb of Little Falls, west of Joburg.

“I think she need to re-evaluate her setuation, your still in a R2m house that you clearly cannot afford, can she not put it up for sale I’m sure the value has gone up, and purchase something small, or rent it out and use the rent money to pay the bond, ged rid of the luxury car and get a polo, someone suggested a concert or even apply for call center job, we have seen the rise and fall of bigger people whom had to start from humble beginning” Suggested one Facebook user

“We supported by her music. Seriously what else must we do now. Where is the money. That house and car should have been bought cash” says a user

“Can we not laugh but ask her to throw a concert where we all support so she can retain her stuff? I cannot standby and watch a fellow african suffer while i laugh. We have become such an evil nation” echoed a third user

A report surfaced on in 2017 that Zahara is over R350 000 in arrears as for the past nine months she has allegedly failed to pay off the Audi A5 she purchased in 2012.

The report states that an accountant who saw the account alleged the monthly instalments owed for the vehicle were R12 000, and that the vehicle when purchased in August 2012, cost over R620 000.
